GreenFerti.tech organic fertilizer plant
Organic fertilizer from sewage sludge
Invest in a production plant manufacturing organic fertilizer granules from municipal sewage sludge – with a potential return on investment within 3 years
Why is this opportunity unique?
GreenFerti.Tech is one of Hungary’s first industrial-scale sewage sludge-based granule plants. The technology is proven to be environmentally friendly, and demand for the product is stable and growing.
The model is easily scalable, making the investment not only promising quick returns but also offering long-term, sustainable growth opportunities.
About Us
GreenFerti.Tech is an innovative company that transforms sewage sludge into high-value, granulated organic fertilizer on an industrial scale.
Our solution provides significant cost savings for providers while offering agriculture a sustainable and economical alternative. Granulated organic fertilizers produced from sewage sludge are available in industrial quantities at a much more favorable price than chemical fertilizers, and their high nutrient content delivers real value to farmers.

The challenge and the solution we offer
Challenge:
The volume of municipal sewage sludge is constantly increasing, its processing is complex, and it causes serious environmental problems. Meanwhile, fertilizer prices have risen dramatically, making them increasingly unaffordable for farmers.
Many are forced to return to organic fertilization but are looking for a reliable and cost-effective alternative.
Solution:
Our technology provides a solution for processing the continuously generated sewage sludge: through composting, we produce granulated organic fertilizer with high organic matter content.
This biologically controlled organic granulate is significantly cheaper compared to chemical fertilizers, yet it effectively supplies plants with essential nutrients, improves soil structure and water balance, and stimulates soil life.
Market Size and Growth of Organic Fertilizers in Europe
The bio-organic fertilizer market is expected to reach USD 4.52 billion in 2025 and grow to USD 6.62 billion by 2030, representing a 7.95% annual growth rate.

🚜 Agriculture worldwide requires millions of tons of organic fertilizers every year.
Innovation, that Transforms the Industry
The essence of the project is to recycle a typically problematic and difficult-to-handle waste – sewage sludge – on an industrial scale, converting it into high-value, granulated organic fertilizer.
The innovative technology we have developed is not yet used anywhere in Europe.
🚀 The market is open, with no competitors in this region → the market gap is available.

Sustainability and Recycling
Granulation of sewage sludge is a form of recycling.
An originally waste material (sewage sludge) is converted into a useful product that can be applied in agriculture (e.g., granulated organic fertilizer). This makes it part of the circular economy model: it reduces waste volume and returns nutrients to the soil.
The technology is easily adaptable across different EU member states, reducing the use of chemical fertilizers and supporting sustainable agriculture.

Explanation of the project’s impact and utilization within the EU
Project Objective
The objective of the project is to develop a sustainable bio-organic fertilizer produced through sewage sludge recycling.
The innovative process enables the production of environmentally friendly, soil-improving compost and granulated bio-organic fertilizer with concentrated nutrient content. The product is easy to apply, ensures long-term nutrient supply, and helps maintain soil fertility.
The technology is easily adaptable across various EU regions, reducing chemical fertilizer use and supporting sustainable agriculture.
What Will Be Implemented?
The project will develop an environmentally friendly compost and granulated bio-organic fertilizer produced from local raw materials, along with the related production technology and industrial production line.
What Is the Product?
The production process results in granulated or pelleted, marketable organic fertilizer. This is a granulated, homogeneous organic fertilizer made from sewage sludge, plant-based biomass (e.g., straw, green waste), and microbiological additives, produced through industrial-scale composting and drying.
The final outcome of the technology is a granulated organic fertilizer that fully replaces chemical fertilizers.
Application Areas and Sales Potential
Granulated bio-organic fertilizer based on sewage sludge is a marketable soil improver that can be widely used in agriculture: it offers an efficient and cost-saving solution for both large-scale farms and small to medium-sized family farms.
The final product is marketed through agricultural cooperatives, wholesalers, and distribution networks, ensuring a stable source of revenue. The product is suitable for fertilizing field crops, horticultural plants, and energy plantations, thus meeting the needs of multiple segments.
